To be considered for Production Operator, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

  • Possess Mechanical Aptitude.

  • Experience soldering or able to become certified.

  • Possess good eyesight with the ability to distinguish colors and good hand dexterity/ range of motion, including mobility.

  • Able to lift 35 lbs. frequently and up to 65 lbs. occasionally.

  • Attention to detail and technical accuracy required.

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

As a Production Operator, you will:

  • Assembles electromechanical products using all required manufacturing documentation including rotor, stator sub-assembly, and rotor assembly.

  • Inspect and stack laminations to prescribed height using measuring tools and assemble stators and rotors using stacking fixtures.

  • Use tooling to apply epoxy adhesive, using industrial ovens to Bake Stator and Rotor Stacks

  • Use machinery for sanding excess epoxy; clean and inspect; Laser printer, rotating machinery, and high voltage testing.

  • Apply "potting" compound on higher assemblies, using molding dispensers and baking ovens.

  • Soldering wire leads and test stator electrically and rotor performance per specifications.

  • Prepares and packages final stator and rotor assemblies.

  • Notify supervisor when order materials and supplies as needed.

  • Work overtime as needed, including Saturdays.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
