Description ACARA Solutions is seeking a Network Design Engineer to join our client located in Port Orchard, WA on a contract to direct hire opportunity Payrate: $60-64/hr. As a Network Integration Engineer, you will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for integration of software components, across multiple operating systems (Windows and Linux), hardware configurations (physical and virtual, including networking) and software packages Work will involve integration and test of distributed, net-centric system-of-systems with specific needs on the Navy's Undersea Warfare Decision Support System (USWDSS) program Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science or Mathematics Minimum 5 years of experience in Network Design Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Experience with Windows and Linux based operating systems. Experience with Infrastructure as Code processes and provisioning (i.e. Terraform, Ansible) Experience with Container/Container Orchestration software (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes) Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques to resolve application, network or data issues. In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems. Additional Information: Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
