POSITION SUMMARY The Accounting Manager at AES will manage the accounting functions. Responsibilities include hands-on month-end financial close, preparation of financial statements, and providing insightful analysis for decision-making. Additionally, the Accounting Manager will manage a team of accounting professionals, ensuring efficient workflow, and fostering a collaborative environment. In this role, the Accounting Manager will work closely with senior management, sales administration, and external tax advisors to ensure timely reporting and tax compliance. This role demands a solid accounting foundation, proficiency in extracting and analyzing data from various sources, acute attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines. The role collaborates with the leadership team in AES and reports directly to the AES CFO. This position will be a hybrid role in the Des Plaines, IL office.
