Under general supervision, the AV/IT Engineer 3 provides audio visual technical assistance within the department, and is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, operation, and end-user instruction of numerous complex interactive media systems used within the Health System; the position upholds HS AV Service Level Agreements, interacts with clients, Health System and Health Sciences technical staff, various UCSD internal groups, external departments, and outside vendors and consultants. The incumbent will be working with various types of display offerings (e.g.; Digital Signage, Patient Entertainment, Operating Room Status Boards), Crestron and Extron systems, Projectors, Cameras and a variety of new and advanced A/V manufacturer offerings. The position is responsible for complex assignments that range significantly in size, and that require independence, decision making, project management, and excellent judgment. Will also be responsible for support of Collaboration tools, such as Zoom, Cisco Collaboration endpoints and other components as required. Will gain practical experience in an OSHPD environment with knowledge of division standards related to AV methods. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $69,500 - $123,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $33.29 - $59.15 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
