Primary Purpose:





  • To fully understand the relevant application skills and techniques Nano Indenter, including SEM/FIB based and standalone systems.
  • To understand the application of EDS/EBSD/AFM/Raman systems and build co-relate application with nano-indenter.
  • To provide applications support, and customer training on all Electron Microscope products of Oxford Instruments.
  • To support the direct sales team and OEM partners by conducting customer demonstrations, providing technical expertise, sales support, and customer sample analysis.
  • To research and develop solutions for customers job-to-be-done and related marketing materials, focusing on market segments with big growth potential, including super alloy, new material, lithium battery and semiconductor, etc.
  • To build strong connections with key opinion leaders and develop potential customers in key market segments.




Key Responsibilities

Applications Support, Customer Development, Marketing Support and Sales Assist



  • To establish and maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction and confidence by technical profession and right attitude.
  • To identify and develop influential relationships with current and potential customers to fully understand their needs.
  • To collaborate and support the sales and marketing teams to manage the programme of promotions activities across the territory including workshops, seminars, conferences, and exhibitions as well as digital campaigns on social media.
  • To identify and engage with key customer accounts, especially in super alloy, new material, lithium battery and semiconductor, etc.
  • Establishes and maintains an OEM partner training and development program. Adjusts program to meet the needs of OEM partners and market conditions consistent with the long-term goals of the company.
  • Carry out customer demonstrations, workshops / seminars and/or produce applications reports for customers.
  • To collaborate and provide technical input to the sales and marketing teams to assist manage the programme of promotions activities across the territory including workshops, seminars, attendance at key conferences and exhibitions as well as digital campaigns on social media.
  • Help to manage demo stock installed at both customers and OEM's ensuring proper utilisation.
  • Promote a positive image of Oxford Instruments in all communications with customers, and OEMs, whether in person, by telephone or in writing.

  • Quality of technical and applications support to customers and OEM's.
  • Customer Satisfaction Levels.
  • Quality of relations and feedback from OEM partners.
  • Number of customer demonstrations resulting in sales.
  • Sales volume and value for systems.
  • Market development in key segments.
  • Number of workshops, seminars and training events organised in territory for customers and OEM's.
