The RN does this by designing and implementing treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and that promote physical, psycho-social and spiritual health. Moss-Magee Rehab is One of 14 model SCI Centers as designated by NIDILRR! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (include but are not limited to) 1. Possess specialized rehabilitation nursing and/or medical-surgical, acute nursing knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide care for people with physical disabilities and chronic illnesses. 2. Exercises sound critical thinking skills and nursing judgement. 3. Coordinates educational activities and uses appropriate resources to develop and implement an individualized teaching and discharge plan with patients and their families Qualifications. * Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Pennsylvania. * Generally, a minimum of 1-year licensed professional nursing experience is preferred. * Must possess sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and ANA standards of practice and others as determined by state and federal regulations. * Proficient math, keyboarding and other computer skills required. * Must be able to function in a dynamic, rehabilitation team work environment.
