TheEnvironmental Products Intern will be a critical part of theCorporate Affairs and Sustainability department, reporting to the Senior Director, Environmental Products. In this role, you will be responsible for research and analysis of renewable energy purchasing programs and sustainability policies to recommend a market targeting strategy for environmental products.

"Gauges" of Responsibility

  • Identify corporate interests in the Northeast region that have ESG policies and utilize liquid fuels.
  • Gather stakeholders feedback/desk research to evaluate performance to date, plans and timelines/budgets.
  • Suggest potential targets based on each corporation's situation. For example, highlighting corporations struggling to meet their sustainability goals, particularly in relation to their liquid fuel and consumption.
  • Provide a comprehensive report that includes valuable insights and suggestions for engagement or intervention with the identified corporations, promoting effective actions and driving meaningful change.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficient in conducting research and gathering data.
  • Attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities while meeting expected deadlines.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Highly motivated and energetic.
  • Strong work ethic and tenacity.

Education Requirement

  • Must have a high school diploma and be enrolled in a degree program leading to a bachelor's degree.
