Responsible for speech therapy patient service delivery including evaluation and treatment of routine and complex patients. Depending on department needs, responsibilities include evaluating both inpatients and/or outpatients with speech, language/cognitive, swallowing or voice disorders, completing appropriate documentation/reports and developing and implementing appropriate treatment goals. Performs services that may include modified barium swallow studies. Performs other related duties. Completes required documentation and communicates patient information across the continuum of care. Participates in training and program development and represents the department to the medical and general community. Demonstrates competence in the UCSD Health System core values. Depending on experience of the selected candidate, this position will be hired as a Speech Pathologist or a Sr. Speech Pathologist level.
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $106,885 - $141,065 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $51.19 - $67.56 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
