Director of Supply Chain - Dialysis and Kidney Care (Procurement & Operations Leadership)

Location: 1550 W. McEwen Dr., Franklin, TN 37067 (will need to be onsite at least 3 days per week, preferably Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday).

Overview:

Innovative Renal Care is hiring a Director of Supply Chain to oversee the day-to-day operations and drive procurement, inventory management, and supplier performance across our organization. This critical leadership role is based in Franklin, TN, with a hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain, the Director will act as the operational leader of our supply chain team, managing direct reports and collaborating across departments to ensure smooth and efficient processes. While the VP will lead the overall strategy and vision, the Director will focus on supply chain operations, optimization, and results.

Key Responsibilities



  • Supervise and mentor a supply chain team
  • Lead the team's daily operations and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence
  • Oversee procurement processes, manage strategic supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
  • Implement and upgrade Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) tools, including supplier scorecards and performance metrics
  • Optimize purchasing and inventory management systems in collaboration with clinical, IT, and operations teams
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives, optimize inventory levels, and mitigate supply chain risks
  • Evaluate and refine processes to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and support growth initiatives, including de novos, acquisitions, and divestitures
  • Develop and maintain the item master and partner with leadership on formulary management



Education & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 6-8 years of healthcare procurement experience in multi-site organizations.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, managing teams and cross-functional projects.
  • Pharmaceuticals procurement experience and knowledge of healthcare compliance and regulations.
  • Expertise in procurement software, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and advanced Excel.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and drive strategic decisions.
