Description Acara Solutions is seeking a
Vendor Risk Management Professional to work with our client headquartered in Boston, MA.
Job Type: 3-Month Contract, possibility to extend
Schedule: Part time, 20-25 hour/week
Location: Remote
Overview
The ideal candidate will be manager level and have experience with vendor onboarding and vendor risk management. They should be able to apply judgement to vendor attributes to understand vendor's inherent levels of risk and the steps to take to mitigate that risk based on a predefined framework.
Job duties
- Support tickets submitted by stakeholders for new vendor onboarding requests. Ensure that each new vendor is assessed for criticality and risk, that appropriate reviewers are applied to support mitigation of risk, and that a complete risk assessment summary is drafted prior to onboarding the new vendor.
- Work with other reviewers/approvers within the new vendor onboarding approval flow to address questions, prioritize tickets, and ensure new vendors are onboarded in line with respective SLAs.
- Support other ad-hoc needs in the vendor onboarding, vendor risk management function. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
