Our residency is an ACGME-accredited, three-year program with six residents in each class located in North Philadelphia. The program is affiliated with Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia (JEPH) Hospital which is a Level 1 Regional Resource Trauma Center with 30+ ACGME accredited residencies and fellowship. JEPH is also a major academic affiliate of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University.

We are seeking a full-time physician (Core-Faculty) to join Einstein Family Medicine at Logan Plaza, which is the FM resident clinic for Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia.

Faculty are eligible for academic appointment at Thomas Jefferson University's School of Medicine

Schedule

Schedule Option 1:

• Inpatient FM Hospital Teaching Service 6-9 weeks
• Outpatient FM Residency Clinic with approximately 4 sessions/week of direct patient care. Remaining sessions spent precepting and academic/administrative time.

Schedule Option 2:

• Inpatient FM Hospital Teaching Service 6-9 weeks
• Outpatient FM Residency Clinic: approximately 8 sessions/week seeing patients independently, occasional precepting coverage required.

Schedule Option 3:

• Inpatient FM Hospital Teaching Service 7 days on/7 days off --26 weeks per year

Schedule Option 4: (dual trained FM/Sports Medicine)

• Outpatient only
• 1 day per week with Ortho Department
• The remaining 4 days with outpatient FM Residency Clinic will be spent approximately 4 sessions/week in direct patient care and the remaining sessions spent precepting and academic/administrative time. Work towards creating 1 dedicated session to Sports Med Procedure Clinic.

Qualifications

• MD or DO From an Accredited Program - Required
• Completion of an Accredited Family Medicine Residency - Required
• Appropriate Licenses and Certifications - Required
