Job Description

Thomas Jefferson University Hospital - Methodist Hospital, which includes a state-of-the-art Operating Room and recently expanded services, seeks a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an Anesthesiologist to join our experienced team and work in an excellent hospital associated with a major University

Jefferson's Methodist Hospital is 67% outpatient surgery and serves as a center of excellence for Shoulder and Elbow, Hand surgery, and newly opened Spine and Bariatric centers. We also perform >3000 Endoscopies per year and serve as a teaching center for ultrasound guided nerve blocks.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • MD or DO From an Accredited Program - Required
  • Completion of an Accredited Anesthesiology Residency - Required
  • Completion of an Accredited Anesthesiology Fellowship - Optional
  • Appropriate Licenses and Certifications - Required

THE POSITION:

  • General Anesthesiology - Primarily outpatient surgery, Bariatrics, General Surgery, Neuro, Outpatient GI, Regional, Ortho including ultrasound guided regional, Urology
  • No PEDs, Trauma, OB, or Craniotomies
  • Hospital-Based Position
  • 1:6 Call (from home), Early day pre-& post-call day off
  • Care Team Model - CRNAs are in-house 24/7
  • Vacation package plus 7 paid holidays
