Position Summary: As the Assistant Clinical Director of MRSS, you will play a pivotal role in leading and supporting an interdisciplinary team of Clinicians and Behavioral Assistants to deliver comprehensive crisis intervention, safety planning, and aftercare services aimed at stabilizing clients within their homes and preventing hospitalization or removal. You will provide direct clinical supervision, facilitate Disposition Team Meetings, conduct intake assessments, and maintain a small caseload to support referral flow. Essential Functions:
- Leads an integrated team of Clinicians and Behavioral Assistants within the MRSS program to provide rapid response to crisis, safety planning, and aftercare planning that will lead to overall stabilization within the home and prevent hospitalization or removal.
- Provide direct weekly clinical supervision to MRSS Clinicians and Senior MRSS Clinician.
- Lead and coordinate weekly Disposition Team Meetings with both internal and external stakeholders in order to review cases and determine appropriate aftercare plans.
- Oversee and assist with intake assessments with client, family, and referral source.
- Attend collaborative meetings for clients as needed, including provider meetings and family meetings.
- Maintain a small caseload to support referral flow when needed.
- Assist the team with ongoing assessment of referral behaviors and safety planning.
- Maintain a regular training schedule for the MRSS team on best practices for crisis and trauma-informed counseling.
- Support MRSS Clinicians with QMHP certification which includes shadowing Clinicians' sessions in the field. * Monitor and report out on program goals and outcomes. Support CQI practices within the MRSS program.
- Oversee documentation including timely and accurate data entry into Echo Vantage and other reporting databases.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism and communication in the community in order to build referral sources.
- Attend weekly Directors Meetings. * Participate in the Director on-call rotation which may require in person response during non-traditional business hours.
- Monitor and maintain client census as it relates to contract requirements.
- Participate in all MRSS meetings with partner agencies in order to develop protocols, support workflow, and maintain relationships.
- Evaluate Supervisees annually according to Agency policy.
- Lead the MRSS program in accordance with the NASW Code of Ethics.
- Ensure proper representation for clients and families during advocacy activities.
- Assist with any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Requirements Qualifications:
- Masters' degree from an accredited school in social work or related field - Required.
- LICSW/LMHC - Required.
- Valid driver's license and registered/inspected vehicle - Required.
- Bilingual; English, Spanish, Portuguese, Creole - Preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in human services, healthcare, and other non-profit agencies.
- A demonstrated solid track record of innovative clinical services and using evidence-based models informed service delivery to teach, guide, and support youth and families with their goals and challenges to remain in their homes and communities.
- Capacity to lead clinical excellence and utilize evidence-based counseling and supervision techniques, program structure, guidelines, crisis intervention aligned with quality service metrics.
- Strong crisis management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with youth of all ages.
- Managed in-home and community evidence-based services to clients and families.
- Skilled in building relationships with internal team, stakeholders, clients and families, schools, law enforcement and other community resources.
This is a Full-Time position and is Exempt.
