Description Leidos Health & Civil Sector is looking for an Architect to support Human Spaceflight on the Human Health and Performance Contract (HHPC) at NASA Johnson Space Center. This is your opportunity to join the myriad of teams sustaining a human presence in space while working to return humans to the moon and beyond. Specifically, the incumbent will join the Center for Design and Space Architecture (CDSA) team, which specializes in human-centered design and leverages skill in architecture and industrial design to provide functional, intuitive solutions to human spaceflight problems. The ideal candidate will leverage architectural skill and spaceflight knowledge to create more efficient and user-friendly products for human spaceflight. The incumbent can expect to work on habitat design for micro-, lunar-, or Martian gravity, rover design for the lunar and Martian surface, and full-scale or part-task mockup design to support human-in-the-loop testing of those concepts here on Earth. You will work on site at NASA Johnson Space Center and will routinely collaborate with engineers and scientists to ensure designs meet functional requirements, support the concept of operations, and integrate well with other systems. US Citizenship or US Permanent Residency and the ability to successfully obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance are required.
