Job Description

Periop Materials Coordinator | Perioperative Services | NYC

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: MSK is looking for a Materials Coordinator to join our Perioperative Services Group. In this role, you'll play a key part in the procurement and materials management activities, ensuring the adequate and efficient availability of supplies.

Role Overview:

    Responsible for procurement-related activities, including specialty supplies, implants, instruments, and equipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to meet departmental needs.
  • Track purchase orders, monitor supply chain disruptions, and work closely with vendors and key stakeholders to identify alternative solutions.
  • Prepare and present weekly updates to the leadership team on critical issues such as backordered items, capital purchase progress, recalls, and other supply-related concerns.
  • Actively participate in departmental charge capture activities.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Accounts Payable teams to address and resolve issues, ensuring seamless operations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft applications including Outlook and Excel
  • Materials or Inventory Management experience is a plus

Core Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail, especially when managing large datasets
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide timely updates to both internal and external stakeholders

Additional Information:

  • Location: 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY
  • Shift: 9am - 5pm; Monday through Friday
  • Reporting to: Operations Manager

Pay Range: $60,000.00-$93,100.00
