Your Role With Us:

Salem Health has an opportunity for a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our organization. This full-time outpatient position integrates behavioral health into our established primary care teams located at our Skyline Village clinic. You'll enjoy a flexible 4-day work week, providing 32 hours of patient-facing care with opportunities for collaboration in a supportive environment.

You may be a qualified Nurse Practitioner candidate if you:

  • Completed master's degree in nursing or in a field deemed to be equivalent by the Oregon Board of Nursing.
  • Hold a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license through the Oregon Board of Nursing by the employment start date.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Program recognized by the Oregon Board of Nursing.
  • Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a psychiatric specialty by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or equivalent certifying body, or actively seeking certification to be obtained with 2 years of employment start date.
  • Current DEA certification.
  • At least 12 months of relevant experience in psychiatry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean methodology preferred.

You may be a qualified Physician Associate candidate if you:

  • Have graduated from a Physician Associate/Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Associate/Assistant or its predecessors.
  • Have passed the Associate/Assistant National Certifying Examination and are certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Associate/Assistant.
  • Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Psychiatry from the NCCPA or obtain CAQ within 2 years of initial appointment to Medical Staff.
  • Current Physician Associate/Assistant license in good standing issued by the Oregon Medical Board.
  • Current DEA certification.
  • At least 12 months of relevant experience in psychiatry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Lean methodology preferred.
