Job Description TTM Student Co-Op Program - Operations

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Co-Op Student will be provided with a hands-on experience within TTM's Production team, including the following:

  • Reads and accurately understands the shop traveler (job order, instructions, and customer specifications)
  • Sets up and operates different types of machinery according to the department processes and each job's requirements,and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Consistently evaluates product for quality, verifying departmental procedures are completed accurately
  • Records defects, documents quality data, and works within the quality management system.
  • Reads, records, and reports required product data accurately on both the shop order and within computer applications
  • Follows all safety training and procedures as directed by the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager. Reports any safety concerns.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to read and comprehend English written instructions, including manufacturing work orders, customer specifications, and shop control documents
  • Quality centered mindset with strong attention-to-detail, mathematical, and technical aptitude
  • Able to be a positive team member and ask questions during the Co-Op program
  • Manual dexterity (hand/finger/eye coordination) is essential to work in the Production area; ability to work with very small components
  • General computer skills and ability to update electronic records and enter data into systems
  • Able to sit or stand throughout a shift and independently push, pull, or lift 10-50 pounds
  • Able to read, write, and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
  • Consistently meet attendance requirements.
  • Comfortable working within a manufacturing environment that includes machinery, moving parts, and noise
Compensation and Benefits:

Benefits are available 1st of the month following date of hire.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
