Oversee administrative and logistical support to assigned degreed and/or non-degreed academic program offerings of an Institute academic unit. Facilitate the various actions required to successfully offer and conduct academic programs. These actions may range from student recruitment and retention to program development. May be responsible for setting employee goals, assessing performance and providing feedback and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a consistent basis with academic administrators, faculty members, prospective students, enrolled students. The Academic Program Manager I for Pre-Health will contribute to Academic Success and Advising, supporting students and alumni who plan to attend health professional school. This position provides highly specialized one-on-one advising, facilitates group learning, and works with professional schools to provide information to Georgia Tech students and alumni. The Pre-Health Advisor reports to the Assistant Director for Pre-Health Advising and works closely with other Specialized Advisors. Key responsibilities custom to this position
