The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Business Analytics Manager to join our Finance Business Center. In this role, you'll lead Facilities and Business Operations analytics, supporting internal planning and decision-making. By delivering actionable insights and recommendations, you will play a critical role

Responsibilities:

• Gather, verify, and analyze data from multiple organizational systems to produce specialized reports using descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and visualizations that effectively communicate key findings and insights, ensuring consistency and timely delivery.

• Present data-driven insights that showcase operational successes and highlight opportunities for improvement, with a focus on identifying, tracking, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Strengthen customer relationships by delivering actionable insights that enhance service delivery and improve the overall customer experience.

• Communicate findings and strategic recommendations to senior management to support informed decision-making and long-term planning.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting platforms to maintain high-quality information standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in business analytics, data analysis, or a related role, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights.

• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, charts, macros), and experience with Power BI for advanced reporting and visualization.

• Demonstrated ability to develop recommendations from data, creating reports and visualizations that drive strategic decision-making and business outcomes.

• Strong understanding of descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics techniques to provide comprehensive data insights and forecasting.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven experience in identifying, tracking, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), with a strong ability to spot trends and opportunities for business improvement.

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity.

• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Economics, Data Science, etc.).

Special Instructions to the Applicants:

Position requires a valid Class E driver's license. The position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business.
