Summer Risk Management Internship

Job Summary:

Ag Processing Inc a cooperative (AGP) is seeking Risk Management majors for our Summer Risk Management Internship in Omaha, NE. This paid internship will give you an opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in corporate Risk Management/Risk Financing. Our goal is to have you learn about our business and to understand our risk management processes for the renewal of Casualty, Marine, Financial Products and Property Insurance. Housing assistance will be provided if needed.

Responsibilities:

This internship will involve assisting AGP's Risk Management department with:

• Gathering renewal data and preparing requests for broker submissions
• Attending both internal and external meetings with Risk Manager
• Review of contractual requirements for insurance including incoming insurance certificates
• Preparation of month end risk management reporting/allocations
• Various other Risk Management responsibilities and projects

Qualifications:

• Available to work 11 weeks during May, June, July and August in Omaha, NE
• Risk Management majors are preferred candidates but others will be considered that have completed some Risk Management coursework
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Highly organized
• Able to work independently
• Professional and friendly
• Ability to travel via car or air to meetings and plant visits
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
