Reporting to the Engineer V and dotted line reporting to the Plant Manager, the Plant Mechanical Engineer is responsible for leading engineering efforts and maintaining building & grounds at the Hartselle, AL location. The Hartselle Sonoco plant manufactures industrial nail wood reels for the cable and wire industry. The Plant Reliability Engineer will play a key role in collaborating with the maintenance manager/team to continually improve our maintenance process but also improving/upgrading our equipment technology and over all plant performance. This is a progression position and will be based on candidate experience and business needs.
