Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Physician Specialist- III for NJMS- Gastroenterology. The Physician Specialist III is an advanced gastroenterologist, non- ACGME trainee in Medicine and attending physician in the division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Will serve as a trainee for advanced endoscopic procedures, including EUS with FNA & FNI, balloon-enteroscopy, ERCP techniques, including intraductal ultrasound, cholangioscopy, hydraulic lithotripsy, endoscopic mucosal resection, cystgastrostomy, and luminal stenting. Besides clinical training, the Physician III is also expected to pursue scholarly activities involving participation in multidisciplinary conferences, research projects related to endoscopic techniques, outcomes, etc. As an instructor and attending in the department of medicine the candidate will serve as the attending physician on the gastroenterology service and perform general endoscopic procedures.

MD or DO degree; NJ State Medical License; board certified in Internal Medicine, board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology. Applicants are required to have completed a formal three-year ACGME accredited gastroenterology fellowship by date of hire.
