Lumos is looking for a full-time OSP Construction Project Engineer! If you are an experienced Construction Project Engineer who's excited for a fast-paced experience, ready to help us grow, and ready to recommend process changes that ensure we're harnessing our technology to the best of our ability while broadening our ability to set up and maintain our service, we want to hear from you! Our OSP Construction Project Engineers build relationships with subcontractor partners and their teams to facilitate the construction and installation of an Outside Plant (OSP) network within a specified market area. Lumos's critical infrastructure builds encompass poles, areal, buried, and underground fiber facilities. In order to be successful, our OSP Construction Project Engineers must reside within commutable distance of their assigned market worksites, as their presence at the worksite on a regular basis is necessary for the builds to be successful and for the OSP Construction Project Engineer to accomplish their important work. Has direct accountability for overseeing line-crews, splicers, and subcontractor crews while ensuring all assigned OSP Construction projects are completed safely and on time, in alignment with CAPEX budget parameters across multiple concurrent projects within the assigned market. *** This position is 90% in the field focused on Columbia and Lexington, SC. Successful candidates preferred within the market or within a reasonable commuting distance.
