Description MaineHealth CorporateProfessional - Clinical Summary The Biomedical Equipment Technician II role is responsible for the safe and reliable operation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of high technological pieces of biomedical patient care equipment. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, testing, calibrating, modifying, specifying, installing, and maintaining a variety of diagnostic, therapeutic and analytic biomedical equipment. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) 1. Education: Associate's Degree in Biomedical Electronics Technology preferred. 2. License/Certifications: Valid Driver's License required. 3. Experience: Five years of experience in medical electronics repair required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Biomedical Equipment Technician I.
