The Account Supervisor role is responsible for the relationship between the agency and day-to-day clients, providing strategic guidance to clients, managing the account team's performance and cultivating strong relationships to encourage new and repeat business. The Account Supervisor demonstrates thinking across the client's line of business and not just on their teams' assigned projects. They act as a trusted advisor and partner to the client.
The Account Supervisor must have expert marketing skills (specifically in CRM and Digital), the ability to anticipate needs, is an experienced executor and has the confidence to express and author informed opinions.
The Account Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision of account members that can range from AAE to Sr AE.
Responsibilities:
*Primary client contact responsible for driving our CRM, .com, and overarching broader digital strategy engagements.
*The Account Supervisor will drive daily engagement with internal specialists, our PMO team, and client partners including SEO (Directors, Managers), CRM (VPs, Directors, Managers), and website / .com teams (Digital Leads, Experience Design, UX, UI, Analytics and more).
*Executing existing scopes of work (SOWs) ensuring all deliverables are driven to completion, according to agreed-upon timelines
*Client Engagement
oActs as the primary, senior client contact for assigned projects, developing relationships with clients and working closely with them to learn their business and communication needs.
oManaging daily / weekly status client meetings, including the creation and maintenance of all status reports. Includes consolidation and routing of all feedback from clients.
oDaily scheduled and ad-hoc client management - emails, calls, texts, and in-person meetings.
oRunning and presenting in client meetings - solo and/or with additional team members
oIn-person meetings: will require frequent on-site attendance at local client (Ridgefield Park, NJ), as well as additional client meetings in NYC
*Internal Engagement
oResponsible for partnering daily with PMO team and other disciplines in the creation and fulfillment of all project plans
oResponsible for writing detailed SOWs, working with PMO team and discipline leads to ensure all deliverables are accurate and relevant
oManage overall budgets across your team member's projects. Develop estimates and manage cost against project budgets.
oCo-plan and coordinate project setup and execution.
oReport on project progress, problems, variance, upcoming deadlines and client satisfaction to Group Account Director.
oKeeps apprised of all relevant client, industry and market developments.
oHave a thorough understanding of the Client's business environment, including competitors, challenges and opportunities.
Education/Experience:
*Minimum five years experience leading projects and accounts. Must have agency experience.
*Experience working at a supervisor level, driving Manager, Director, and possible VP level clients
*Candidate must be a proactive, confident self-starter who can work as part of a team primarily and independently when needed.
*Must exhibit confident, self-assured presentation abilities - including in-person client management, virtual meetings, work sessions and more
*This person will have a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to work under very tight/aggressive deadlines while managing multiple projects.
*Experience digital engagements - CRM projects, SEO projects, email, design & website projects
*Clear understanding of key digital metrics and the ability to analyze, interpret, explain and draw conclusions from data.
*Understanding of site and email tracking and topline knowledge of reporting tools.
*Experience working closely with analytics, creative and digital programming teams.
*Skilled at reviewing analytic reports and assessing strategic impact.
*Must be extremely organized, detailed and accurate.
*Outstanding project and budget management capability.
*Responsive to both internal and client needs in a timely, professional manner.
*Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
*Skill at writing decks and presentation. Strong business writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
*Highly skilled in building and managing project schedules and timelines.
*Solution oriented problem-solving approach.
*Ability to grasp complex concepts easily.
*Ability to operate in a systematic and logical manner, with use of good judgment
*Experience in the automotive industry.
