Supply Chain Manager (Bonduel)

KI is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead our Materials management team at our Bonduel Manufacturing facility. The main responsibility of this position is to manage material purchases, build supplier relationships, and cover inventory management for the Bonduel location.

Responsibilities

• Manage the department workflow and workload distribution and develop staff through task delegation, mentoring and training
• Manage resolution of supplier related issues (e.g. quality, delivery, support)
• Monitor market drivers and cost profile of plant specific commodities
• Identify and implement supplier consolidation opportunities
• Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers including supplier visits.
• Promote Cost Savings Ideas Program with suppliers and buyers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business with an emphasis on Supply Chain preferred
• 10 years progressive experience in purchasing or related supply chain field
• ISM or APICS certifications are highly desirable
