Regional Director, Campus Partnerships (Mid-Atlantic)

Job Description

Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Campus Partnerships, the Regional Director is part of our Campus Partnerships team that serves as connectors for our U.S. partner colleges and universities to the large portfolio of opportunities for students across WorldStrides Higher Ed, including ISA, TEAN, and our faculty-led custom programs. Regional Directors are an important part of the team, serving as first point of contact for university partners and recruiting study abroad students in their assigned region. The Regional Directors' main areas of responsibility include lead generation, new business and program development, territory growth, and relationship management in order to foster exceptional service to our partners and meet enrollment and revenue goals for WorldStrides Higher Ed.

Regional Director Responsibilities



  • Develop a comprehensive awareness and understanding of ISA and TEAN's relationship with our U.S. partners (current and aspirational) in your territory. Work closely with partners on affiliation and associated benefits, program approvals, portfolio development, and strategic programming. Participate in student-facing events such as fairs and other recruitment activities, pre-departure orientations, and re-entry support.
  • Follow standards of best practices in education abroad. Seek leadership opportunities and engagement with the field through conference participation and conference presentations. Stay current with higher ed trends such as equity and access in education abroad.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to achieve enrollment and revenue goals for assigned territory. Manage detailed record keeping pertaining to the universities within your portfolio.
  • Supervise undergraduate student Global Ambassadors and/or Peer Advisors in the assigned region.
  • This job is a home-based role with regular travel of approximately 70-90 days to campuses, events, and conferences per year.


Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree

  • Clear and empathetic communicator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of adaptability, flexibility, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously within collaborative team environment.
  • Home office required in the region.

This is a remote position within the preferred locations stated below, unless within driving distance of a WorldStrides office assuming a hybrid schedule of Tues./Wed./Thurs. in office.
