Description

Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio is seeking mission-minded Associates to join us as a full-time (37.5 per week) Leadership Giving Officer.

SUMMARY

The Leadership Giving Officer cultivates, solicits, and stewards leadership gifts ($1,000 to $9,999, with an emphasis on gifts of $5,000+), driving engagement and philanthropic revenue through the Midlevel program. This role focuses on growing the donor base, increasing retention, and providing a seamless experience to build a pipeline toward major and planned giving.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.




  • Develop and implement strategies to retain, upgrade, and expand the Midlevel donor pool.





  • Serve as the primary contact for mid-level donors, fostering relationships and ensuring consistent, personalized stewardship.





  • Oversee the Midlevel program roadmap, staying updated on trends and best practices.





  • Partner with the Director of Individual Giving and the Leadership Giving team to enhance donor acquisition, retention, and upgrade strategies through targeted messaging and segmentation.





  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and transition key midlevel donors into major giving prospects.





  • Support the Stewardship Officer in engaging Midlevel donors within the program.





  • Conduct calls and meetings (virtually and in person) to qualify and engage high-capacity prospects for potential midlevel or major giving.





  • Manage a portfolio of Midlevel donors, with a focus on upgrading to major and planned gifts.





  • Work with Development Operations to analyze program performance, using insights to adjust strategies as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE




  • Bachelor's degree in related field. Minimum of 4 additional years of related work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.





  • 5 years of previous fundraising experience
