Software Engineer Intern

The signal monitoring and cyber security team based in our headquarters (Santa Rosa, CA) is looking for a student who would like to gain exposure of signal processing and software development. This intern will contribute from algorithm evaluation, code development and final system integration. You'll interface with many cross-functional partners from application engineering, product management and various R&D team, our team is across globe. this is an exciting opportunity for anyone who likes to be working in high tech industry.

Desired Qualifications:

• Junior, Senior, first year Master or PHD candidate in computer engineering, computer science and electrical engineering
• Have practical experience and knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
• Experience in frontend development using Angular or React framework.
• Excellent knowledge in Typescript or Javascript.
• Experience in web deployment using On-prem Web Servers or Cloud Services (AWS)
• Experience with web services such as REST
• Strong instincts and background in creating simple, clean and easy-to-use user interfaces
• Bonus skill:
• Experience in using Plotly.js or other similar graphing libraries.
• Experience in Leaflet or other interactive map libraries.
• Understanding of RF signals like LTE, 5G or WiFi or RADAR (class works or work experience)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
